About the operator
I built my career inside growing B2B teams where marketing had to make a visible difference to the company’s next operating decision. The work was never just about campaigns; it was about finding the constraint, making the trade-offs clear and giving the team a way to move.
After leading marketing at Series B and C SaaS businesses, I started working fractionally because a lot of companies need senior pattern recognition before they need another full-time function. That means stepping into the room with the CEO, the product lead and the commercial team — then making the growth system easier to run.
Week to week, clients get an operator who sets priorities, establishes the reporting rhythm, develops the right team and keeps the work connected to pipeline, retention and revenue. The point is to leave behind a system that works when I’m not in the room.
“The best marketing systems make growth easier to see, easier to manage, and harder to fake.”
Jamie Torres, Fractional CMO
Operating principles
Pipeline before brand, until pipeline is solved.
Narrative matters most when it makes the buyer’s decision easier. First, make growth measurable.
I tell you what’s not working before you ask.
Clear reporting is a commitment to candid diagnosis, not a ceremony around dashboard screenshots.
No vanity metrics in my reporting.
The numbers that matter are the ones that change the next decision: quality, conversion, efficiency and velocity.
Build the function, not dependency.
A strong fractional engagement leaves the company with better systems, stronger operators and clearer judgment.
